Privacy Policy

SFMETRIC (www.sfmetric.com) · Last updated: October 20, 2026

SFMETRIC ("SFMETRIC", "we", "us") is a web application that provides analytics on San Francisco residential real estate, including property sales history, comparable sales, estimated values, market trends and public records. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the application, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at info@sfmetric.com.

1. Information we collect

Account information from Google sign-in. When you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address (and the basic profile information Google shares for sign-in). We do not receive your Google password. We do not request or access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts or any other Google data.

Activity in the application. We record when you sign in, which properties you look up or view, the address or identifier you typed to search, and the date and time. We use this to show you your own activity and to understand how the service is used.

Marketing preferences. If you choose to receive marketing messages, we record that choice, the exact wording of the notice you agreed to, the page where you agreed and the date and time. We also record if you later withdraw it.

Phone number. Only if you choose to provide one. We do not send text messages or make marketing calls unless you have separately agreed to that.

Subscription information. The plan associated with your email address. We do not store payment card numbers; any payment is handled by a payment processor.

Technical information. Our hosting and security systems may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and request time. The application uses cookies or similar browser storage that are needed to keep you signed in.

2. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to make decisions that have legal effects on you.

3. Google user data

SFMETRIC uses Google sign-in only to identify you. The only Google user data we receive is your name, email address and basic profile information. We use it only to create your account and to provide and improve the features described in this policy. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to others except as described in Section 4. SFMETRIC's use of information received from Google will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the application, and only as needed for that purpose:

These providers are permitted to process information only on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business (in which case the successor must honor this policy).

5. Marketing choices

We send marketing messages only to people who have agreed. You can change your choice at any time on the My Account page of the application, by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing info@sfmetric.com. Opting out of marketing does not close your account and does not stop service messages that are necessary to operate it.

6. Your rights and choices

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing info@sfmetric.com from the address on your account. We will respond within the time required by law. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to request deletion and correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it for advertising), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

You can also remove SFMETRIC's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Retention

We keep account and activity information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. We keep a record of marketing consent for as long as we may need to show that a message was sent with permission. When you ask us to delete your information, we delete or de-identify it unless the law requires us to keep it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

SFMETRIC is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the application or by email.
